Paid Channel Marketing Manager at Payoff


Payoff is looking for a Paid Channel Marketing Manager to manage campaigns with the goal of driving customer acquisition and profitable revenue. This person will be a highly quantitative, data-driven marketer who is ready to dive in and grow/improve our paid acquisition efforts.

You’ll be a key member of the Marketing team, helping to manage an ad budget spanning multiple channels. We are looking for someone highly analytical that is comfortable with data and enjoys testing new technologies and platforms.



    • Execute performance-based acquisition marketing efforts across paid digital channels (SEM, Facebook, Retargeting, etc.)
    • Explore, evaluate, and test new channels for opportunities to efficiently acquire customers and help grow the overall business
    • Continuously brainstorm, evaluate, and execute optimization experiments to improve channel performance and drive profitable growth
    • Analyze marketing campaign data to regularly assess ongoing value of acquisition efforts, ultimately leading to improved ROI
    • Work directly with key internal stakeholders to collaborate on strategy, optimize performance and drive results
    • Build comprehensive dashboards that track channel and campaign KPIs to provide actionable insights to key stakeholders
    • Collaborate with internal Design team to develop and refresh campaign assets, as well as proactively share learnings and results with key partners


    • 3-4 years of experience in digital/acquisition marketing
    • Experience with SEM, Paid Social advertising, Display marketing, and Retargeting
    • Specific experience with the following platforms: Adwords, Facebook, Doubleclick, AdRoll, and Google Analytics
    • Demonstrated ability to optimize spend via tactics like creative optimization and A/B testing
    • Extremely high level of comfort working with and manipulating data to identify actionable insights
    • Highly proficient at Excel, basic knowledge of Looker/Business Intelligence tools
    • Superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively and take feedback but also function autonomously with a willingness to problem solve when needed
    • Bacherlor’s degree in a quantitative field (engineering, finance, computer science) preferred


    • Experience with tracking, measurement, pixel implementation, and working with attribution models
    • Experience in lead generation, SEO, email, and other disciplines within acquisition marketing
