Customer Success Operations Specialist at Procore Technologies

Procore’s Business Operations department is looking for a Customer Success Operations Specialist to join our team in Carpinteria. Our Customer Success team is growing across several locations, including Carpinteria, Austin, and New York City. We need a driven and passionate individual to communicate not only across these locations, but across multiple departments.

This position is based in our headquarters in Carpinteria, CA on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

This is an exciting role with an opportunity to develop and create strategic processes that will directly impact the effectiveness of our Customer Success Team! You will be reporting to the Manager of Sales & Customer Success Operations and work closely with Implementation Managers (IM's), Customer Success Managers (CSM's), Customer Support, Professional Services, and the Business Operations team on a daily basis.

As a Customer Success Operations Specialist your responsibilities include:

  • Data driven tasks, including analysis and tracking of leading indicators of renewals and upsell opportunities. What is working? What can we improve?
  • Collaborating with Enablement teams to provide materials and data to allow our already amazing IM’s, CSM’s, and Customer Support teams to be even more successful.
  • Managing processes, e.g. task management automation for IM's, CSM's, Customer Support reps, and their managers, leveraging cross-functional tools.
  • Maintain, organize, and keep dashboards/page layouts up to date.
  • Support in the implementation and administration of all software used by the Customer Success team.
  • Analyze information problems, requested changes, and required modifications to develop appropriate business process solutions.


  • 1+ years experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Passion for trying new things and designing processes that will scale as the team grows across locations.
  • The ability to break down seemingly ambiguous problems into concrete and manageable components and execute solutions.
  • Innate intellectual curiosity and tenacity in seeking insights and solutions.
  • Takes a high degree of ownership over their work and communicates clearly and collaboratively, taking input from team members and departments into consideration.

Not required, but preferred:

  • Previous experience in a start-up environment
  • Experience working in Customer Success or Client Services
  • Experience using Service Cloud and/or Sales Consoles
  • Work experience in a SaaS company
  • Understanding of Sales cycle and processes thereafter
  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, or any other quantitative discipline
